User Onboarding Guide

Complete step-by-step guide for new users to get started with HashPass.

Step 1: Sign In

To get started, you need to sign in to the HashPass app.

  1. Open the HashPass app on your device.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Check your email for a one-time login code.
  4. Enter the code to access your account.

Tip: Check your spam folder if the code does not arrive within a few minutes.

Step 2: Explore Speakers & Events

Once you are signed in, browse the speakers and events available to you.

  • Navigate to the Explore section.
  • Browse speakers by category or search for specific names.
  • View speaker profiles, topics, and availability.

Step 3: Send a Meeting Request

When you want to connect with a speaker:

  1. Find the speaker you want to meet.
  2. Open their profile to view the details.
  3. Select Request Meeting.
  4. Choose your preferred date and time slot.
  5. Add an optional message explaining why you would like to meet.
  6. Submit the request and wait for confirmation.

Step 4: Track Your Requests

Keep track of all meeting requests from the Notifications area.

  • Check the Notifications section for updates.
  • View pending, accepted, or declined requests.
  • Receive notifications when speakers respond.

Troubleshooting

If the web app is not loading correctly:

  • Clear your browser cache and reload the page.
  • Hard refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows/Linux or Cmd+Shift+R on macOS.
