User Onboarding Guide
Complete step-by-step guide for new users to get started with HashPass.
Step 1: Sign In
To get started, you need to sign in to the HashPass app.
- Open the HashPass app on your device.
- Enter your email address.
- Check your email for a one-time login code.
- Enter the code to access your account.
Tip: Check your spam folder if the code does not arrive within a few minutes.
Step 2: Explore Speakers & Events
Once you are signed in, browse the speakers and events available to you.
- Navigate to the Explore section.
- Browse speakers by category or search for specific names.
- View speaker profiles, topics, and availability.
Step 3: Send a Meeting Request
When you want to connect with a speaker:
- Find the speaker you want to meet.
- Open their profile to view the details.
- Select Request Meeting.
- Choose your preferred date and time slot.
- Add an optional message explaining why you would like to meet.
- Submit the request and wait for confirmation.
Step 4: Track Your Requests
Keep track of all meeting requests from the Notifications area.
- Check the Notifications section for updates.
- View pending, accepted, or declined requests.
- Receive notifications when speakers respond.
Troubleshooting
If the web app is not loading correctly:
- Clear your browser cache and reload the page.
- Hard refresh with
Ctrl+Shift+Ron Windows/Linux orCmd+Shift+Ron macOS.
