Speaker Onboarding Guide

Complete step-by-step guide for speakers to manage meetings and schedules.

Step 1: Sign In

Access your speaker dashboard.

  1. Open the HashPass app.
  2. Enter your registered email address.
  3. Check your email for the one-time login code.
  4. Enter the code to access your speaker account.

Step 2: View Meeting Requests

You receive notifications when attendees request meetings with you.

  • Check the Notifications icon in the app header.
  • Review pending meeting requests from attendees.
  • See attendee name, preferred time, and message details.
  • Review all requests in the notifications panel.

Step 3: Accept Meeting Requests

When you are ready to accept a request:

  1. Open the meeting request notification.
  2. Review the attendee message and preferred time.
  3. Select Accept Request.
  4. Pick an available time slot from your schedule.
  5. Confirm the meeting details.
  6. The attendee is notified automatically.

Step 4: Manage Your Schedule

Manage your availability and meetings in the schedule view.

  • View all confirmed meetings.
  • Set available meeting slots.
  • Update meeting details if needed.
  • Cancel meetings if your schedule changes.
  • Review upcoming meetings in chronological order.

Step 5: Decline Requests

If you cannot accept a meeting request:

  1. Open the request.
  2. Select Decline.
  3. Add a message if needed.
  4. The attendee is notified respectfully.

Tip: A brief explanation is helpful, but optional.

Troubleshooting

If the web app is not loading correctly:

  • Clear your browser cache and reload the page.
  • Hard refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows/Linux or Cmd+Shift+R on macOS.
