Brand Usage Guide

Use the supplied HASHPASS artwork unchanged. This guide helps partners and publishers keep the identity clear and consistent; it does not replace a partnership agreement or grant permission to claim an endorsement.

  • Full wordmark: the default for websites, partner rows, press articles, presentations, and event signage.
  • Symbol: suitable for compact placements where HASHPASS is already named nearby. Do not use an unfamiliar symbol as the only identification in a press article.
  • Light-background versions: place on white or a quiet, light surface.
  • Dark-background versions: place on a solid dark surface with clear contrast. Outline variants need extra care at small sizes.
  • Red and cyan variants: keep each supplied color treatment intact. Match the variant used in the relevant HASHPASS material; do not mix colors within a wordmark.

Spacing and Size

As a practical layout rule, leave clear space around the logo of at least half the height of its capital letters. Increase that space beside busy illustrations, partner logos, or page edges.

Keep the full wordmark at least 120 pixels wide on screen as a starting point, then check readability at the final viewing size. For small or low-resolution placements, increase the size rather than removing details. Test printed artwork at its intended physical size with your printer; this kit does not prescribe a CMYK or Pantone match.

Keep the original aspect ratio. The supplied transparent canvas is part of the export; add clear space in your layout rather than cropping the artwork.

Backgrounds and Color

Use a plain background whenever possible. If a logo sits over a photograph or video, place it on a solid, contrasting area that remains readable throughout the shot.

The downloadable SVGs are the color reference. Do not sample a screenshot, apply a new tint, or treat an application's button color as a replacement for the logo's embedded color. These are digital RGB assets; ask for a production proof before printing.

Keep the Artwork Intact

Do not stretch, rotate, skew, redraw, rearrange, or retype the logo. Do not change its internal spacing, add outlines, apply shadows, add gradients, or put decorative effects over it. Do not crop the logo into a new symbol or combine it with a partner mark to create a new identity.

Do not recreate the wordmark using a font. Use your publication's or partner site's typography for surrounding copy. The kit contains artwork, not a licensed font package.

Partner and Sponsor Layouts

Keep the HASHPASS logo and partner logos separate, with balanced visual sizes and clear space between them. Any descriptive label should sit outside the logo artwork. Confirm the exact relationship wording with the person managing your partnership.

Do not label HASHPASS as an event organizer, sponsor, investor, or official media partner unless that relationship has been confirmed. Access to downloadable files is not proof of a commercial relationship.

Artwork Review

Send your HASHPASS representative the final layout, destination or publication, dimensions, background, relationship wording, and deadline. Include a preview of the logo at its actual display size. Ask for confirmation before using a new co-branded arrangement or publishing a quote attributed to HASHPASS.
